Lecturer

Position Part‑time Lecturer in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, College of Arts & Letters, San Diego State University. Appointment includes teaching of specific courses listed below. Courses WMNST 101: Gender, Self, Identity & Society WMNST 102: Women: Images and Ideas WMNST 103: Women and Global Justice WMNST 336: Women of Color in the US WMNST 341A: Women in American History: From Colonization to 1860 WMNST 341B: Women in American History: From 1860 to the Present WMNST 352: Women in Literature WMNST 360: Women’s Sexuality and the Body WMNST 370: Women Law and Policy WMNST 382: Gender, Science, and Technology Appointment Details Temporary appointment: full‑ or part‑time. Appointments may be made immediately prior to the start of an academic term; applicants must be available on short notice. Fall term: mid‑August to late‑December. Spring term: mid‑January to mid‑May. Summer session opportunities possible. Initial appointment one semester or one academic year, with renewal contingent on satisfactory evaluations and continued availability. Application will remain in the applicant pool during the academic year submitted. Qualifications Minimum graduate degree in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies or related field.
