The Physical Therapist will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to assist patients in improving mobility, reducing pain, and regaining independence. This position requires collaboration with providers and care teams across acute, outpatient, and/or long-term care settings. Availability for 4x10 hour or 5x8 hour shifts is necessary, with hours potentially varying from 34 to 40 per week based on patient census or caseload. First-time travelers are accepted if they have at least 1 year of experience. Weekend work is required every third weekend. No on-call shifts are required. Local candidates are accepted with no restrictions on requested time off. The work may involve utilizing advanced skills such as AROM/AAROM/PROM, discharge planning, strength testing, and safety and injury prevention strategies. Patient populations include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support from various services is available. Experience with a variety of patient diagnoses and conditions is essential, along with providing education to patients and families regarding their treatment plans and exercises.
