Position Opening – Receptionist

Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore is seeking a positive, organized, detail-oriented Receptionist to join our Sussex County office. This position is key in establishing and projecting a confident, professional impression of the Easterseals organization to all clients, volunteers, and visitors. Be responsible for triaging a high volume of calls, processing in-going and outbound mail, and accomplishing other administrative tasks such as scheduling, patient onboarding, e-faxing, scanning, copying, and working within an electronic medical records system, as needed. Qualifications:

• Must have compassion for others and the desire to support individuals with disabilities in an administrative setting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient computer skills including 40 wpm typing speed and accuracy
• Effective verbal communication and understanding of telephone etiquette
• Strong attention to detail
• 1- year experience with multi-line switch board
• 1- year clerical experience Preferred Skills:
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Understanding of postage meter operation
• Highly organized with great attention to detail
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
• Strong communication skills in all formats (phone, in-person, email)
