Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Boundary Assessment in Brooklyn NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal you will monitor and patrol a residential location maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols observe and report activity respond to incidents and provide courteous customer service and clear communication to residents and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents visitors staff and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Respond to incidents resident concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas building entrances parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity verify authorization as required and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Communicate observations maintenance concerns and security-related issues to site management and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state county or city-issued security license is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
