Assistant Property Manager

What You'll Do In this role, you'll partner closely with the Property Manager to help drive occupancy, support residents, and keep operations running smoothly:- Market and lease apartment homes to prospective residents, providing tours and sharing community and local area details
- Ensure all marketing and leasing activities align with Fair Housing guidelines and the Resident Selection Plan
- Support daily property operations, stepping in to assist or lead in the Manager's absence
- Respond to resident and staff inquiries with professionalism and a customer-first mindset
- Assist with training and supporting on-site team members
- Help execute marketing strategies and outreach efforts to maintain strong occupancy
- Prepare weekly traffic and marketing reports, along with monthly market surveys of competing properties
- Assist with rent collections, deposits, and general financial processes
- Address resident concerns, complaints, or policy violations in a timely and effective manner
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the property is well-maintained and aligned with company standards
- Background in leasing, sales, or marketing strongly desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a dynamic environment
- Prior experience in property management or a related field preferred
- Comfortable conducting physical inspections of the property (with or without accommodation)
- Proficiency with property management systems and general computer skills
- High school diploma or GED required
