Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs, utilizing diagnostic tools and methodologies to inform individualized treatment plans. \n
- Provide one-on-one counseling sessions for clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques. \n
- Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions, creating a supportive space where clients can share experiences and learn from one another. \n
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that set clear, achievable goals for recovery while adjusting these plans as necessary in response to clients' progress. \n
- Act swiftly during crisis situations to provide immediate support, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating emergency interventions when required. \n
- Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in training, workshops, and collaborative consultations to remain current with industry trends and best practices. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to create an integrated care plan that addresses all aspects of a client’s well-being. \n
Your primary focus will be working with a diverse clientele, including adults and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Many clients may seek support for issues related to stress management, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, trauma resolution, and life transitions. By employing culturally responsive practices, you will help clients gain valuable insights and skills necessary for effective coping and personal growth.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's degree or Doctorate in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required. \n
- Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington. \n
- Completion of three years of supervised clinical hours meeting state regulatory requirements. \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for building effective therapeutic relationships. \n
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations tailored to understanding clients' unique backgrounds and needs. \n
- Commitment to ongoing learning to ensure compliance with licensure requirements and to stay abreast of the mental health landscape. \n
