Eligibility Criteria A Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. medical or osteopathic school is required. International graduates may apply if they possess a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates. A current medical license to practice in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico is necessary. Candidates must be eligible for board certification. Completion of at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship is mandatory. U.S. citizenship is required for Active Duty service.
