Job Summary and Qualifications We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Nursery for our facility to ensure we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role: Performs complete head to toe newborn assessment with plan of care in a family centered setting Medication administration with understanding of side effects for newborn population Infection control for newborns Demonstrates proficiency with computerized documentation Lactation support for breastfeeding mothers in accordance with policy Provides family centered education based on family needs Demonstrates knowledge of normal lab values of the neonate and recognises and reports abnormalities of neonate and mother. Follow protocols for GBBS, glucose protocols.
