Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and DeliveryThis position is for a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery Unit. The unit has a total of 8 beds and is staffed by 19 personnel.Shift InformationShift: NightsTypical Schedule: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AMWeek Structure: 3 shifts one week and 2 shifts the next weekWeekend Requirements: Every other weekendUnit OverviewPatient Ratios: 2:1 for labor patients, 4:1 for couplets (mother/baby)Equipment Used: Fetal monitorsElectronic Medical Record: Meditech, CPNCall Requirements: 1 call shift per week, with potential for 2 on a week with only 2 shiftsQualificationsRequired SkillsLabor and Delivery experienceNursery experiencePreferred SkillsC-Section experienceTypical ProceduresDeliveries and recoveryNewborn testing (CCHD, Newborn Metabolic Screening, Bilirubin, Hearing Screening)Personality FitThe ideal candidate is hardworking, willing to ask questions, and eager to assist colleagues as needed.Required CertificationsACLSNRPSTABLECEFM or AWHONN fetal monitoringFloating RequirementsOccasionally may float as a sitter in the Emergency Department or Medical/Surgical Unit.Dress CodeScrubs will be provided by the facility.LocationBrigham City, UT
