Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant

Job Overview We are hiring experienced Cardiothoracic Advanced Practice Providers in a very busy heart surgery program in New York City. Positions are available across the full continuum of care in cardiothoracic surgery, both in the intensive care unit (ICU) and the operating room (OR), as well as ICU‑only or OR‑only roles. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive patient care throughout the continuum of cardiothoracic surgery. Maintain full autonomy—no residents or fellows in scope of practice. Work a schedule that cycles in six‑week blocks of full continuum care, with three weeks in ICU and three weeks in OR. Manage 10‑hour OR shifts and 12‑hour ICU shifts, with four OR shifts and three ICU shifts per week. After 37.5 hours per week, overtime is available. Qualifications Proven experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in cardiothoracic care. Ability to practice at the highest level permitted by your license.
