Quality Technician

Quality TechnicianTekberry is hiring a Quality Technician to support quality operations within a high-volume manufacturing environment in Wilmington, NC. This position is responsible for analyzing manufacturing data, supporting product quality decisions, investigating quality issues, and driving continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing quality, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across engineering, production, and quality teams.As a Tekberry W2 employee, you will have access to health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.Quality & Process SupportSupport manufacturing quality by analyzing production data and quality metrics.Set up specifications and workflows for new product introductions and manufacturing experiments.Review and disposition product on quality holds using established quality systems and data analysis.Apply Product Quality Architecture (PQA) and attribute quality systems to determine product disposition.Support measurement system analysis (MSA) activities.Continuous ImprovementAssist with root cause investigations for products and processes that fail to meet quality standards.Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.Analyze process performance to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce scrap.Prepare quality reports, summaries, and performance metrics.Training & DocumentationTrain employees on quality systems, procedures, and corrective actions as needed.Maintain accurate quality documentation and records.Support compliance with internal quality systems and customer requirements.Required QualificationsAssociate's degree required.Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Technician or Process Technician in a manufacturing environment.Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis.Experience using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience with quality analysis software such as: JMP, Minitab, SPC XL, PI.Experience performing Measurement System Analysis (MSA).Experience supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.Manufacturing quality systems experience.Soft SkillsStrong organizational skills.Customer-focused mindset.Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Quick learner with strong analytical thinking.Demonstrates integrity and professionalism.Working ConditionsManufacturing and office environment.Frequent computer-based analysis and reporting.Collaboration with production, engineering, and quality personnel.May occasionally support manufacturing floor activities.We need hard-working, reliable employees who take pride in producing quality work.
