About the Role

The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel with a focus on Finance and Strategic Transactions to join their dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of project finance facilities, joint ventures, and strategic transactions. This position is pivotal in the company's mission to deliver turnkey development, financing, and ownership solutions for advanced nuclear projects. The role requires a legal professional with a J.D. from an accredited law school, an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, and a minimum of 4 years' experience in project finance, corporate, and/or transactional practice. Hands-on experience in project finance for complex infrastructure or construction projects, joint venture formation, and governance, as well as excellent drafting and negotiation skills, are essential. The ideal candidate will be adept at independently managing multiple legal matters in a fast-growing startup environment and will be expected to provide strategic advice, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and identify and mitigate legal risks. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including the Finance, Project Development, and Commercial & Business Development teams, is a key aspect of the role. While not mandatory, experience in the nuclear or energy industry is a plus.
