A premier global law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney to join its Seattle office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing emerging growth companies, public companies, private companies, private equity sponsors, venture capital funds, and strategic investors in sophisticated corporate transactions.

Compensation

$260,000 – $420,000+

Ideal Background

• 3–6 years of corporate transactional experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing public companies, privately held companies, emerging growth companies, venture-backed companies, private equity sponsors, and institutional investors

• Experience handling mergers & acquisitions, venture capital financings, private equity investments, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions

• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, merger agreements, stock purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, operating agreements, financing documents, and other corporate transaction documents

• Experience conducting legal due diligence, managing transaction workstreams, and coordinating multidisciplinary deal teams through closing

• Experience advising clients regarding corporate governance, commercial agreements, equity financings, and general corporate matters

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated transactions while maintaining significant client interaction

• Excellent academic credentials

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

• Washington bar admission required or ability to become admitted
