Job Summary MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in New Orleans, Louisiana. Position Details Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week; 8‑hour shift Employment Type: Travel Requirements Current license in good standing Appropriate specialty certifications or credentials 18 months of interventional imaging experience preferred, ideally in a critical‑care setting Other requirements to be determined by client facility Duties and Responsibilities The primary responsibility of the Interventional Radiology Technologist is to provide technical assistance to the IR team and support patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department. Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting. Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images according to physician specifications. Assist the physician with procedures by monitoring, passing instruments, observing patient response, maintaining a sterile field, and evaluating diagnostic data. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practice guidelines. Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner. Maintain a patient‑focused, compassionate environment and provide timely, quality care. Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
