Business Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver store in-stock metrics by influencing the order process, including order creation, reviewing daily orders, maintaining perfect POs, and optimizing fill rates.
• Drive execution of Direct Import business out of Asia in partnership with the Customer Service team in Hong Kong.
• Participate in sales trend analysis to improve weekly item-level POS projections, aligning these plans with internal stakeholders and retail partners.
• Drive weekly shipping plans by item and channel to support POS plans and future order needs.
• Attend internal consensus meetings to present POS demand forecasts and share data findings with cross-functional S&OP teams to finalize monthly consensus forecasts.
• Collaborate with sales team in key forecasting meetings with Buyers and Replenishment Managers, providing business insights and recommending seasonal action plans.

• Strong business judgment for interpreting issues and recommending actions that align with group, division, and corporate goals.
• Process-oriented mindset to identify and address process improvements.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel (Power User), and experience with tools like PowerBI, Alteryx, and BigQuery.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2+ years of relevant experience in sales analysis or merchandise buying/planning, preferably in a highly seasonal environment.
• Experience with direct replenishment planning and long lead times.
• Experience in CPG or retail.
• Familiarity with statistical forecasting techniques, systems applications, and model building.
