Have you ever thought about running your own business but wanted the support of an established company behind you?

The Rappa District Office is looking for someone to build and operate a Farmers Insurance agency in Valdosta. You’ll be responsible for developing relationships, bringing in new business, and eventually building a team of your own.

You don’t need an insurance background to be considered. We’re more interested in people who know how to sell, lead, connect with others, and follow through. We provide training, help with licensing, and ongoing guidance as you get your agency started.

This is an agency ownership opportunity, not a traditional salaried position.

Responsibilities

As an agency owner, you’ll:

• Build a pipeline through networking, referrals, marketing, and community involvement
• Talk with clients about their needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
• Develop and maintain long-term client relationships
• Set production goals and track the agency’s progress
• Recruit and develop a team as the business grows
• Build a visible and trusted presence in the Valdosta community

Requirements

We may be a good fit if you:

• Have experience in sales, leadership, operations, business development, or another client-facing role
• Enjoy meeting people and building relationships
• Are comfortable prospecting and creating new business
• Want the responsibility that comes with running your own agency
• Are willing to become involved in the Valdosta community
• Hold Georgia Property Casualty and Life Health licenses or are willing to obtain them with our support

Insurance experience is helpful, but it is not required.
