Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Director of Nursing to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the DON will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing department, aligning with the organization's mission and vision

• Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care

• Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff to ensure optimal performance and professional development

• Monitor and analyze quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and patient-centered care, promoting a positive work environment and staff satisfaction

• Develop and manage budgets, allocating resources effectively to support department operations and goals

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a long-term care or post-acute care setting

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
