Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any equipment issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records within the electronic health record system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed
