A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support the efficient movement storage and distribution of raw materials and finished goods. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments managing transportation schedules maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers. The Logistics Coordinator serves as a key liaison between production warehouse operations customer service suppliers and transportation providers.


Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
• Schedule and monitor carrier pickups deliveries and freight movements.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation including bills of lading packing lists and other transportation records.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve transportation delays or delivery issues.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability and order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate shipment inventory and transportation records within company systems.
• Assist with inventory management activities cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Communicate shipment status and logistics updates to internal stakeholders and customers as needed.
• Monitor freight activity and support cost-saving initiatives related to transportation and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety quality and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with carriers vendors and internal teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance logistics efficiency service levels and operational performance.
• Generate and maintain logistics reports and key performance metrics.
