Senior Electrician

Job Title: Senior Electrician
Location: Atlanta, GA
Hourly Rate: $30 - $45

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrician to join our team. This role focuses on diagnosing electrical issues, performing repairs, and completing retrofit upgrades. The ideal candidate is a seasoned electrician who can work independently, communicate clearly with clients, and ensure all work meets safety and code requirements.

What You Will Do

• Perform electrical service calls, troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades
• Lead retrofit projects, including lighting upgrades, panel replacements, and equipment modernization
• Diagnose electrical issues quickly and provide clear, professional recommendations to clients
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and residential settings
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and company safety standards
• Prepare service reports, document work performed, and communicate next steps to clients
• Coordinate with dispatch, project managers, and other field staff to ensure efficient scheduling
• Mentor junior electricians and apprentices as needed

Skills & Experience Required

• Journeyman or Master Electrician license (state-specific requirements apply)
• 7+ years of electrical experience, including service work and retrofit projects
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose issues independently
• Solid understanding of NEC, local electrical codes, and safe work practices
• Experience with commercial and residential electrical systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple service calls and prioritize effectively
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
