Process Engineer

Develop, validate, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for high-volume production environments. Design and implement assembly workstations, tooling, fixtures, and ergonomic solutions. Support new product launches through process planning, documentation, and production readiness activities. Create and maintain process flows, PFMEAs, control plans, standard work instructions, and related manufacturing documentation. Analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to cycle time, quality, throughput, and efficiency. Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues affecting production performance. Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure manufacturing processes meet product and business requirements. Assist with facility layouts, equipment selection, material flow optimization, and manufacturing line improvements. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, uptime, cost reduction, and error-proofing. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 5+ years of process engineering experience within automotive or other high-volume manufacturing environments. Hands-on experience supporting assembly operations, equipment installation, commissioning, and production ramp-up activities. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, ergonomics, and quality systems. Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Capability Studies, and structured problem-solving methodologies. Proficiency with CAD or manufacturing layout software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar tools. Strong analytical abilities with a proven track record of driving measurable process improvements. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
