About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current Med Surg/Medical Surgical/Med Surg Tele experience License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license Certifications: AHA BLS certification required Must-Have: - Experience in post-operative surgical care, specifically hips and knees - EPIC EMR experience - Recent or current charge experience Description: We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a Med Surg/Telemetry position. This role requires working night shifts (12-hour shifts). The nurse will provide care to patients in a variety of Med Surg settings. The patient ratio is typically 4-5 patients per nurse. The unit has a bed size of 24. Drips managed will include heparin. Remote telemetry monitoring will be utilized. Navy blue scrubs are to be worn. Candidates must be willing to float across multiple campuses. Every other or every third weekend shift may be required depending on staffing and census.
