Ultrasound Technologist III

Role: Senior Sonographer responsible for operating ultrasound imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a lead or resource in imaging procedures, provide training, ensure patient safety, maintain imaging standards, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a Sonography program with clinical experience, state licensure if required, ARDMS/ARRT/CCI certifications or equivalent, and Basic Life Support (BLS). Preferred skills include team leadership, decision-making, conflict resolution, attention to detail, and adaptability. Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks like reaching and bending. Knowledge of quality assurance and accreditation standards is desirable.
