Pay starting at $18 / hr - can go up based on experiencePosition SummaryAs a Commercial Roofer, you will work outdoors as part of a professional roofing crew installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial roofing systems. The work involves climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, lifting, and using a variety of roofing tools and equipment.Employees are trained on the job, with opportunities to develop your skills and advance as you master the fundamentals of commercial roofing.ResponsibilitiesInstall and repair commercial roofing systems, including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, and slope roofing systems such as tile and shingles.Work effectively as part of a roofing crew and contribute to a team-oriented environment.Follow manufacturer's specifications and company procedures.Maintain a strong focus on job-site safety and quality workmanship.Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.Perform physically demanding tasks including repeated bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting.Safely climb ladders and work at heights on commercial roofs.Commercial Roofer Requirements2+ years of commercial roofing experience preferred.Must be 18 years of age or older.Valid driver's license.Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.Authorized to work in the United States.Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 feet and working at heights.Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.Strong work ethic and ability to work well with a team.Empire Roofing / Tecta America BenefitsComprehensive benefits packageMedical, dental, and vision insuranceCompany-matching 401(k)Paid time off (PTO)Paid holidaysYear-round workOpportunities for career growth and advancementEmpire Roofing, a Tecta America Company, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
