About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years current Medical Surgical experience required; Telemetry experience required License: Massachusetts RN license required Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active American Heart Association ACLS, National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale NIHSS Must-Have: Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment. Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required. Willingness to float to any medical surgical unit is required. Description: This position requires proficiency in Medical Surgical nursing. Travelers must be available for two holidays, such as Memorial Day and July 4th. No more than five days of requested time off will be accepted. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted in advance. Profiles must include a permanent address to avoid processing delays. Voicemail must be set up for communication purposes. Every effort should be made to include scheduling requests at the time of submission. This position requires a patient ratio of 1:6, with unit sizes ranging from 20 to 34 beds. Travelers will be expected to work every other weekend and holidays as required. Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable for the dress code.
