Microbiologist Senior Technologist

MLee has been contracted by a local community hospital to find an experienced and driven Micro Tech to lead a team.

A Microbiologist Senior Technologist is responsible for performing advanced laboratory techniques to identify, culture, and study microorganisms. This may include tasks such as designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and interpreting results. They may also be responsible for supervising junior technologists and lab technicians, as well as maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies. Additionally, they may be involved in the development of new methods and techniques for microbiological analysis. They also may be responsible for keeping accurate records, preparing reports, and presenting findings to colleagues and management.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in microbiology, Medical Technology, or Medical Laboratory Science
• ASCP or AMT
• Must have at least 2 years of Micro experience
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in Micro
