The Department of Radiation Oncology at our organization in Johnstown, PA, is thrilled to announce an opening for a medical physicist to join our team under the guidance of Dr. Saiful Huq. Dr. Huq is highly regarded for his significant scientific and professional contributions, including his roles in TG51, chairing TG100, and participating in IAEA TRS398 and TRS483 Codes of Practice. He served as the President of AAPM in 2020 and has mentored numerous young medical physicists who are now making their mark globally. Candidates should possess an M.S. or Ph.D. in Physics or Medical Physics. While ABR/ABMP Certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics or Therapy Medical Physics is preferred, it is not mandatory. Applicants must meet the criteria for qualified experts as defined by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and/or the Pennsylvania State regulatory agency. There is an option to work remotely for 1-2 days a week, but candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from Johnstown.

Position Highlights:
