Position Overview

365 Healthcare is hiring a skilled Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a day shift travel contract in Waterloo, Iowa. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a strong interdisciplinary team while providing patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Assignment Details

• Shift: Days | 312-hour shifts | 36 hrs/week
• Schedule: Every other weekend including holiday rotation
• On Call: None
• Floating: Behavioral Health, ED, ICU, and post-procedural areas
• Start Date: December 10, 2025

Compensation & Premiums

• Weekly Gross: $2,448
• Taxable Base: $1,202/week ($33.39/hr W-2 base)
• Stipend: $1,246/week
• Overtime (OT): $50/hr
• Callback Pay: $66/hr

Unit Details

• Bed Size: 130
• Ratios: 1:6
• Drips: Heparin, Insulin, Lasix, Amiodarone, Diltiazem, Digoxin
• Telemetry: Rhythm strip and dysrhythmia interpretation required
• Training: Two-day cardiac dysrhythmia course (must pass test)
• EMR: EPIC

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years in Med Surg/Tele; 1st-time travelers accepted with 3+ years total RN experience
• Must be able to confidently read EKG/ECG and manage telemetry
• Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS, NIHSS, and De-escalation (CPI, MOAB, or MAB)
• License: Active Iowa or Compact RN license
