Position Overview Location: UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital – Highlands Ranch, CO Department: HRH RT Work Schedule: PRN, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Pay: $31.61 - $47.41 per hour, depending on relevant experience. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). State licensure. Advanced Cardiac Life Support. PALS Certification. Neonatal Resuscitation Program. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. Responsibilities Provides top‑of‑scope practice in a direct patient‑care environment utilizing respiratory therapy protocols and best practices to promote optimized care and achieve exceptional outcomes. Values and effectively partners with a multidisciplinary team. Prioritizes patient wellness and evidence‑based practice. Models proficiency by precepting new personnel in healthcare and UCHealth practices. Welcomes new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment. Contributes to safe, quality care at the point of care. Clinical Competency Practices in a technologically complex setting, managing ventilator integration, adaptive pulmonary support, and airway management across multiple levels of care. Uses clinical ladders to encourage internal growth and promotion through implementation of clinical and process‑improvement projects at the unit, division, regional, or system level.
