Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Are you an Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Montana might be the perfect fit for you!

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (includes 1-hour break); 8-hour daily guarantee; OT applies after 9 hours; No call, no weekends, no holidays required. Full-time coverage (at least 3 weeks/month). Assignment is ongoing.
• Job Setting: Outpatient clinic
• Types of Cases: OB/GYN outpatient clinic office consults. Average 19 patients per shift. Approximately 700 deliveries per year. Skills include low and high risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds (Level I & II), amniocentesis, routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs), repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP), and surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, operative/major). Supported by OB Generalist/Hospitalist Model with comprehensive team including REI, MFM, Gyn/Onc, and Uro/Gyn. 24/7 MFM support available.
• Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days. Temporary privileges are not available. Malpractice insurance provided by vendor. Locum-to-perm candidates will be considered.

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible required; Fellowship preferred
• Certifications: BLS required
• Licensure: Montana state license required; IMLC not accepted
