O/N Merchandising Lead

What You'll Do Provide member service by acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, guiding and supporting members on self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the company’s products and services. Assist management in supervising associates in the assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training on processes and procedures, providing direction and guidance on member service approaches and techniques, ensuring compliance with policies, supporting the Open Door Policy, and participating in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Receive and stock supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors, organize and maintain the sales floor using equipment, merchandising, and required documentation in accordance with company policies. Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following procedures for forklift spotting and handling hazardous materials, adhering to company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management. Ensure sales floor and merchandise presentation by handling claims and returns, zoning, stocking, arranging, organizing merchandise, setting up displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, and securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise. Monitor food and merchandise quality, ensuring proper product rotation, code dating, product recalls, sanitation standards, and stocking, zoning, and cleaning all departments. Lead and participate in teams by sharing resources, determining customer needs and business priorities, coordinating work assignments, providing feedback and support to meet timelines and quality, and modeling adaptability to change. Oversee the picking and staging of club pick‑up orders throughout the day, ensuring products are selected and staged per company policy. Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners, analyzing information from multiple sources, monitoring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities. Demonstrate compliance with policies, procedures, and ethics by explaining, guiding, and demonstrating application of these practices, implementing action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and assisting management in correcting ethical and compliance issues. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Six months of retail experience and six months of customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications Leading a team and supervising experience, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others.
