Industrial Electrician

**Job Title: Electrician (Manufacturing/Industrial Environment)****Job Summary**The Electrician is responsible for supporting and maintaining the facility’s physical infrastructure to ensure optimal performance across all departments. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnostics, and working with electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position requires adaptability to evolving technologies and a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and reliability.This is a dynamic, detail-oriented role that combines independent work with team collaboration. Problem-solving, dependability, and strategic thinking are essential for success.**Key Responsibilities**Meet and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, production, efficiency, and serviceFollow all safety standards, regulatory requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment issuesRead, interpret, and create wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprintsWork with electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature/pressure controlsProgram and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), including basic and ladder logicPerform analog and digital circuit design using microprocessor hardware and softwareInstall, maintain, and repair wiring, conduit, and electrical equipmentConnect power supply wiring to machinery and equipmentConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective solutionsMaintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, breakdown reports, and equipment modificationsUpdate schematic drawings to reflect system changesPlan and execute wiring layouts for new and existing equipmentAssemble and test electrical components prior to installationDiagnose complex and non-routine electrical issues, including power quality problems**Required Qualifications**High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of five (5) years of experience diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or industrial machinery, or equivalent combination of education and trainingStrong ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprintsExperience programming PLCs using basic and ladder logicThorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentationStrong understanding of industrial controls and mechanical systemsExperience with microprocessor hardware and software configurationsAbility to perform basic analog and digital circuit designStrong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentGood visual acuity, including color differentiation #J-18808-Ljbffr
