Optical Training Coordinator (2nd Shift)

Role: Optical Training Coordinator (2nd Shift) Responsibilities: Develops and delivers hands‑on training for manufacturing and other departments, supports performance improvement, and leads new employee orientation to enhance retention. Acts as a liaison between trainees and management to resolve training issues, oversees onboarding of new hires, and ensures compliance with procedures. Facilitates safety training, maintains training records, tracks training hours and costs, and reports on training impact through key metrics. Conducts quality and time evaluations, maintains training materials, and ensures facility compliance with ISO standards. Participates in continuous improvement initiatives and adheres to SOPs to meet production goals. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred. Proven experience or training in a related field. Strong organizational, planning, and interpretive skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems and machinery.
