About This Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled cook to join our daycare team, dedicated to serving healthy and appetizing meals that bring joy to our young learners.

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to the daycare's scheduled menu, while adhering to strict food safety standards.
• Effectively manage kitchen duties, ensuring all equipment and work areas are clean and sanitized throughout the day.
• Deliver meals on time, using the daycare's planned menus and recipes as a guide.
• Establish a welcoming mealtime environment, promoting healthy eating habits and social interaction among children and staff alike.

• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage inventory and inform the director of any needed supplies.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with daycare staff.
• Handle any dietary restrictions or allergies with care.

• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Previous experience in food preparation, preferably in a daycare or similar setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal plans.
