Employment Type: Full-Time Position, Daytime Hours with a Flexible work Schedule

$1,000 annually for CME allowance.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietitian to join our team

In this role, you will:

• Conduct Nutritional Assessments: Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' nutritional status to identify needs and risks.

• Develop and Implement Care Plans: Create individualized nutrition care plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide Education and Counseling: Offer one-on-one and group education sessions to patients and families, focusing on nutrition-related topics and behavior change strategies.

• Monitor and Evaluate Progress: Regularly assess and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure effective nutrition management.

• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to integrate nutrition care into overall patient treatment plans.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field.

• Licensure/Certification: Registered Dietitian status by the Commission on Dietetic Registration; Licensed Dietitian in the appropriate state.

• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Clinical Dietitian preferred.

• Skills: Ability to complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Knowledge and skills to support patient education and engagement in self-care management.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in dietetics, nutrition, foods and nutrition; required. Graduate Degree, preferred.

• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Clinical Dietitian, preferred.

• Licensure/Certification:

• Registered Dietitian status by the commission on Dietetic Registration, required.

• Licensed Dietitian in appropriate state, required.

• Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Knowledge, ability and skills to support patient education and patient engagement in self-care management to accommodate cultural diversity, age specific or behavior needs among the patients being served.

• Additional Skills Preferred: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to relay information to diverse audiences for one-on-one consultations, small and large group presentations; dynamic presence for media interviews, health fairs and other invited presentations/appearances.
