Job Title Dental Assistant (Floater) Regular Full-Time Technical Baltimore, MD, US Requisition ID: 4798 Salary Range: $23.00 To $28.00 Hourly Job Summary Perform basic chair side assisting duties, instrument and equipment maintenance, radiographic proficiency and dental supply inventory. Responsible for providing dental assistant duties as assigned to all sites upon request to cover dental assistant position when assigned site dental assistant is on PTO or leave of absence. Responsible for instrument and equipment maintenance for dental and other departments as needed. Responsibilities Greets and seats patients Prepares room for treatment Take any appropriate radiograph as requested. Planning and Organizing Keeps instruments cleaned and maintained Keep dental supplies correct and on hand Cleans room after treatment to prepare for next patient Checking, Examining, & Recording Notifies Lead Dental Assistant of necessary supplies Notifies Lead Dental Assistant in the event of equipment malfunction Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
