• Experience: Minimum 3 years with pediatric populations, pediatrics residency highly preferred

What You ll Do:

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric eye exams, including binocular vision and strabismus assessments
• Perform specialized contact lens fittings for pediatric patients, including complex cases
• Manage patients with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, and co-managed conditions like seizures or facial anomalies
• Utilize advanced imaging devices to assist diagnostics and care planning
• Support and collaborate with techs, ophthalmologists, and other specialists
• Document patient encounters in Epic EMR efficiently and accurately
• Provide tailored care for patients of varied cognitive abilities and complex needs

What You Need:

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree with CA licensure
• BLS certification
• At least 3 years of pediatric optometry experience, including complex cases; residency in pediatric optometry preferred
• Strong skills in binocular vision, strabismus, and contact lens fitting in children
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
