What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct Diagnostic Testing: Perform a variety of laboratory tests, including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood banking, to provide accurate and timely results that inform patient care decisions.
- Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and supplies, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and maintaining a safe and efficient laboratory environment.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results and contribute to patient care plans.
- Educate and Support: Provide guidance and training to laboratory staff and assist in troubleshooting complex technical issues.
What We're Looking For
- Active ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
