Logistics SpecialistLocation: Chickasaw, AL -36611 Duration: 6 Months Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) The manager is looking for candidate with strong experience with arranging shipments domestic/international vs warehouse experience.IntroductionThis role supports international shipments and export compliance in a dynamic and fast-paced logistics environment. The ideal candidate will have foundational logistics, shipping, or supply chain experience and be capable of working effectively with multiple stakeholders.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience with various transportation modes: Ocean (LCL, FCL), Air, Road, Rail, and Special equipment shipmentsKnowledge of hazardous materials shipping compliance: IATA, IMDG, DOT, U.S. export regulationsProficiency in preparing international shipping documents: Commercial/customs invoices, Packing lists, Certificates of Origin, Free Trade Agreement documentation, Bills of Lading, Certificates of AnalysisStrong communication and coordination skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and work with urgency0–2 years of related experienceAssociate degree or equivalent preferredApplicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2Preferred Skills & QualificationsPrior work experience at client or in client's industryComfortable presenting to senior leadershipStrong decision-making skills in uncertain situationsDay-to-Day ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and develop logistics plans affecting production, distribution, and inventoryCreate and review distribution and inventory management proceduresMaximize customer satisfaction while minimizing costsCoordinate shipments and support global logistics operationsEnsure regulatory compliance for international transportationCompany Benefits & CultureComprehensive health benefitsOpportunities for professional growth and developmentSupportive and collaborative work environment
