Fire-Emergency Communications Specialist

Job Description
The purpose of this position is to receive emergency and non-emergency calls for information and assistance via the telephone radio and tele-type. ECS directs all calls to an immediate source of assistance, maintains a constant status information on all police, fire and emergency medical units, operates complex computers and network functions, telephone equipment, radios, recording devices, and other technical equipment, and monitors activities in several areas of the complex for security.
