RRT / CRT – Respiratory Therapist (Nights)
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a full-time night shift assignment in an acute care hospital. Candidate must have strong ventilator and NICU experience, including care of Level II Nursery patients on Bubble CPAP.

Requirements:
• Active Washington RT License required
• RRT or CRT accepted
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• NICU experience required
• Experience with Bubble CPAP and Level II Nursery patients (32 weeks and up) required

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform respiratory treatments and ventilator management
• Draw and analyze ABGs
• Set up and manage BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow, and ventilators
• Provide support during conscious sedation and cardioversion procedures
• Assist with intubations
• Care for adult patients and occasional pediatric ED patients

Unit Details:
• Acute Care Inpatient Setting
• Approximately 25 treatments per day
• EPIC charting system
• 4+ RTs scheduled on night shift
• Lead Therapist available every shift
• Hospitalist/Intensivist coverage 24/7

Equipment:
• PB 980 Ventilators
• Philips V60
• Respironics Lumis

Additional Information:
• Weekend rotation required
• One holiday required
• No call requirement
• Personal scrubs allowed (any color)
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Manager phone interview required before offer
