Responsibilities As an LPN , provide hands-on resident care and proper, timely administration of medications and treatments. Provide accurate verbal and written reports and rapid response to any/all emergency situations. Perform professional and restorative nursing services, including resident assessments and recording vital signs. Maintain timely documentation of written and verbal reports to ensure quality care. Interact with residents’ physicians, pharmacists, and medical personnel as needed. Follow the Resident Care Plan and assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, mobility). Assist with in-service and on-the-job training and mentoring of team members. Participate in required in-service training and education programs as scheduled. Education, Experience, and Knowledge Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing. Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid. High school diploma or GED; four-year college or university degree desired. 1-2 years of experience in a similar healthcare position preferred. Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Ability to meet attendance and punctuality standards. Ability to use Electronic Records and office software and equipment. Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision. Must pass pre-employment screening including fitness for duty, background check, drug test, and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
