Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities Proficiency with commercial door repairs to include electrified locks, panic hardware, mortise systems, and automatic/manual sliding doors is preferred Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues Perform general building maintenance including property interior and exterior carpentry, drywall, light electrical, light plumbing and painting Assist with HVAC systems maintenance and repairs Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment Complete assigned work orders in CMMS and maintain appropriate service documentation Assist the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs Participate in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergency response Respond to facility emergencies, system failures, and urgent maintenance issues outside normal business hours Maintain readiness to address critical building system malfunctions Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship Minimum of 3 years of applicable working experience in general building repairs and maintenance in a commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environment Experience with preventative maintenance procedures Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports Proficiency in basic computer applications and software such as MS Office, Slack, and email Valid driver's license High school diploma or GED equivalent Proficiency in using various hand and power tools Preferred Qualifications Certifications in specific trade areas (e.g., HVAC, electrical) Experience with building automation systems Knowledge of energy conservation practices Trade school education or military service is desirable Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and building automation systems (BAS) Additional Information This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
