Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1970 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months.

• Experience with MEDHOST is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 1-2+ years of experience.

Unit Details: - Unit secretary/monitor tech stationed at the Med/Surg nurses station. - Equipment includes Welch Allyn vital machines, Masimo at bedside in every room, CareView, telemetry, Sara Stedy, and ARJO lift. - Patient population is primarily geriatric and adult; typically only 3-4 pediatric patients per year.

Shift & Scheduling: - Rotate every other weekend; if there is a need, may be scheduled more than every other weekend. - Call required depending on census.

Floating Requirements: - May float to medical detox, ICU, OB, or ER; task assignments only for OB and ER. Will take low-level Med/Surg overflow patients in ICU with a 1:3 ratio.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
