Responsibilities
- Deliver peri-procedural nursing care for GI and pulmonary interventional procedures (e.g., colonoscopies, EGD, bronchoscopy, feeding tube placement, ERCP, EBUS, variceal banding, Bravo manometry, capsule endoscopy)
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures; assist with sedation and analgesia as directed; manage patient safety and comfort
- Prepare and assist in the procedure room; ensure proper equipment setup, sterility, and adherence to infection control practices
- Document procedures, medications, and patient responses in the electronic health record; communicate with the care team
- Post-procedure recovery, vital sign monitoring, discharge instructions, and escalation of any adverse events as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and nursing staff to support efficient, high-quality patient care

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent GI Lab RN experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
- Ability to work 4x10-hour shifts Monday through Friday with on-call weekends
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a hospital-based GI Lab environment
- Location restriction: No local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment
