Fitness Connection is looking for a Fitness Consultant who thrives on connecting with people and creating positive experiences. This role serves as the first point of contact for many future members, helping them explore membership options, understand the value of our services, and confidently take the next step in their fitness journey.

Success comes from building relationships, creating trust, generating opportunities, and consistently executing the daily activities that drive membership growth. Fitness Consultants combine sales expertise, service excellence, and genuine care for people to help members feel welcomed, supported, and connected from their first interaction forward.

Base Salary: $19 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

What You Will Do

Drive Membership Growth - Build a Strong Pipeline

Guide future members through the membership selection process using Fitness Connection's proven sales process. Conduct engaging club tours that connect individual goals to membership and service solutions. Present memberships, personal training, and club services confidently and professionally. Generate leads through referrals, networking, outreach activities, and community engagement. Conduct prospecting and follow-up activities with consistency and professionalism. Maintain an active pipeline of future members and scheduled appointments.

Create Exceptional Member Experiences - Run the Business

Create welcoming first impressions for every guest and member. Build relationships that foster trust, loyalty, and long-term engagement. Listen to member goals and concerns to provide personalized recommendations. Address questions and concerns with empathy, professionalism, and confidence. Help create an environment where members feel valued, supported, and inspired. Maintain accurate records for leads, referrals, memberships, and sales. Execute front desk responsibilities, member check-ins, and telephone inquiries. Follow company policies and procedures, including operational and safety requirements. Support opening, closing, cleanliness, and merchandising responsibilities. Maintain organizational standards that contribute to a positive member experience.

Schedule and Work Environment

This role requires a flexible schedule aligned to club needs, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, or another customer-facing role preferred
• Completion of Fitness Connection's EPIC Training Program within the designated timeframe
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the club for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
