Maintenance Tech (1 year experience mininum) (10am-6pm Mon-Fri Every Other Weekend)

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Maintenance Tech to join our team at Accela Rehab and Care Center at Somerton in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Maintenance Tech, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by providing excellent maintenance and repair services. Our company's mission is to make each day count for our patients and their families, and we value individuals who are willing to go the extra mile.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
• Conduct repairs and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and appliances
• Assist with general maintenance duties, such as painting, cleaning, and preparing areas for special events
• Respond to resident and staff requests for maintenance and repair services
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
• Demonstrate a commitment to resident satisfaction and safety

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance work (non-negotiable)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

About the Role:

As a Maintenance Tech at Accela Rehab and Care Center at Somerton, you will be part of a dynamic team that values quality care, compassion, and dedication.
