Food Runner

The Food Runner supports the front-of-house team by promptly delivering food from the kitchen to guests, ensuring orders are accurate, fresh, and presented properly. This role is essential in providing excellent guest service, maintaining efficient operations, and supporting servers and kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables quickly and accurately
• Verify order details, including special requests and dietary restrictions
• Ensure food presentation meets restaurant standards before delivery
• Assist servers by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and refilling water as needed
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and expo areas
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
• Provide courteous, professional interaction with guests at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience a plus, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain on feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Work Environment & Schedule

• Fast-paced restaurant environment
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required
• Standing, walking, bending, and carrying trays throughout shift
