Pay Range:

$17 to $18 per hour (commensurate with experience, qualifications, skills, and/or client's needs basis)

Role Overview:

The Home Health Aide/HHA at Enchanted Hearts Home Care LLC plays a vital role in improving the quality of life for individuals who need assistance or support. As to uphold in providing the utmost essential support and companionship, allowing to maintain their independence and dignity. This position involves providing compassionate support to individuals (including elderly, people with disabilities, or those recovering from injury or injury) with their activities in their daily living.

Responsibilities:

• Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Meal Preparation: Preparing meals, feeding client/s, and ensuring proper nutrition.
• Light Housekeeping / Housekeeping: Cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a clean & safe surrounding.
• Companionship: Providing emotional and physical support, engaging in conversation, and accompanying clients on outings.
• Transportation: Assisting with transportation to doctor's appointments, errands, or social activities.
• Medication Reminders: Organizing and preparing all of the client's medicines and care tasks needed to be perform while monitoring for side effects.
• Specialized Mobility & Transfer Support: Safely executing transfers using a Hoyer lift and other mechanical aids to move the client between their bed and wheelchair . Maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols to protect the client's healing fractures.
• Respiratory Care & Monitoring: Managing and monitoring continuous oxygen therapy , including checking tubing for kinks, ensuring proper flow rates as prescribed, and maintaining a fire-safe environment.
• Bed-Bound Care & Skin Integrity: Performing frequent repositioning and proper body alignment for a bed-bound client to prevent pressure ulcers (bedsores) and promote comfort during the fracture healing process.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Has experience as a Home Health Aide / HHA or in a related field is preferred, but not required.
• Certifications: Has Home Health Aide / HHA certification and CPR certification
• Technical Skills ( Preferred but optional): Prior experience with mechanical lifts (Hoyer) and managing continuous oxygen therapy is highly preferred. Training will be provided for the right candidate who demonstrates high clinical aptitude.
• Compassion and Empathy : Has the genuinely desire to help others and a compassionate approach to caregiving.
• Reliability and Punctuality: Has a strong work ethic and ability to maintain a consistent schedule.
• Reliable Transportation: Must hold a valid driving license. Ideally, candidates should have their own vehicle with insurance, though a company car is available for work-related errands and client visits.
• Availability: Full-time, at least Monday to Friday, and flexible hours
• Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED

Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
