Emergency Department Registered Nurse #26-36312 RN-Registered Nurse // ED - Emergency Department $1,561 weekly stipends $11 - $14/hour $396.0 - $504 weekly base pay Onsite Contract Starts 11/23/2026 13 weeks Night Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Location: Charlotte North Carolina 28210 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift - 36 Shift Information: 1900-0700 Clinical Interviewing: Yes On Call, Call Back Requirements: None Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays Floating Requirements: Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children's Hospital) Weekend Rotation: EOW About Facility: 337 licensed beds No Trauma Designation Not a Teaching Hospital Chest Pain Center Stroke Center Radius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit Unit Information: Beds: 43 8 Clinical Decision beds – Behavioral Health (not locked) 4 additional on opposite side used for admins from FSED or holding patients Average Census: 145 patients on average per day Minimum Years of Experience required: 2 years of ED exp Will you accept a first-time traveler: No Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: General ED Population – Trauma stabilization to ship out, Respiratory illness, Stroke, Behavioral Health, Acute MI, Uncontrollable Diabetes, Minor trauma, etc. Ages served – Pediatric to Geriatric 25-30% Admission rate Patient Ratios: RN: 1:3-4, based on acuity CNA: will serve as Unit Coordinator and assisting RN with patient cares, ratios varies Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: RN: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI (required) TNCC (preferred) Skills required: RN: General ED Skillset to include but not limited to - Cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with critical care drips, PIV starts, TNK/TPA administration, conscious sedation Support within the Department: HCT/Unit Sec – 1:8-10 Paramedic Charge nurse – free floating Patient Safety Attendants Pharmacist dedicated to ED – 7a to 11p Social Worker Scheduler
